Why YOU need a massage regularly:

The daily demands of our modern lifestyles, combined with the incomprehensible levels of poisonous pollution in the air we breathe, the foods we eat, and the fluids we drink are all placing unprecedented burdens on our bodies.  Our immune and elimination systems simply aren't equipped to deal with it all.

Massage therapy is one of the most effective healthcare interventions there is to counter the negative effects these forces have on how we feel and function.  Massage fundamentally works by assisting the body in doing what it does naturally.  Only the body can heal itself.  Massage simply helps the body do what it does more effectively.  Massage increases circulation, relaxes tissue tension that is stuck in a stressed state, stimulates immune impulses, and calms pain.

When combined with sufficient hydration, a wholefoods diet, regular exercise and adequate sleep, massage therapy can help you feel and function optimally.  And feeling and functioning optimally is the heart and soul of human health and happiness.   Like anything natural, Massage therapy is a process, not an event.  Like exercising at the gym, the effects are cumulative over time.
